Our Office: The World
We mean it. As a remote-first company all of our team operates from remote locations. This can be either at home or while travelling the world! However, for team events and other gatherings we do have an office in beatiful Karlsruhe, right at the Rhine river harbour. The office is fully equipped with modern, vertically adjustable desks and a multi-monitor setup. There is a shared kitchen for lunch breaks and if you like coffee or tea, we got you covered as well! The office is available at any time for team members to make use of, when you just can't stand being at home anymore for a change.
Karlsruhe is a city located in southwestern Germany, in the state of Baden-Württemberg. It is known for its beautiful Baroque architecture, tree-lined streets, and its large number of parks and gardens. It's also known for its high-tech industries, research institutions, and universities. The city has a rich cultural scene, with numerous museums, theaters, and galleries. In terms of transportation, Karlsruhe is a major hub for both rail and road transport, with excellent connections to other cities in Germany and Europe.
Company Culture
We do things differently at CodeEffect. As one of very few companies at this time, we employ a four-day week policy for all members of the team. That means you rock work for four days instead of five and enjoy a prolonged weekend to recover and enjoy life! As a team we value a healthy work-life-balance more than anything and agree there is more to life than just work.
